Besides our Board members, our other five founders possess a diversity of backgrounds and relevant experience:

• Dr. Joana Breidenbach at betterplace.org, anthropologist by training, is offering betterplace's experience as an online donation platform with bottom-up feedback mechanisms.

• Dr. Andreas Renner and Matthias Spöttle of GEXSI contribute their experience in executing due diligences of income generating "social impact companies" as well as GEXSIs large portfolio of social organisations that could be listed at the hybrid SSE.

• Michel Aloui brings his background as private equity investor and founder of the charitable NGO brandStiftung to the table.

• Peter Spiegel established the Terra One World Network, researching the world's most effective development projects; today, he heads the GENISIS Institute for Social Business and Impact Strategies.

Several people support our cause:

• Dr. Niels Billou, former professor for entrepreneurship at ESMT, is supporting SSEA in putting together a notable board of trustees as well as advising us in drafting the business plan for fully functioning SSEs.
• Melissa Abla, a close colleague of Celso Grecco, is spending time and energy at implementing our pilot in Lisbon.
